Locks of Love

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. They meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics.

Locks of Love’s mission is to return a sense of self, confidence and normalcy to children suffering from hair loss. The children receive hair prostheses free of charge or on a sliding scale, based on financial need.

Please read the requirements for hair donation at Locks of Love. Donations must be a minimum of 10 inches.

If you’re interested in donating your hair (or have donated within the last month) to Locks of Love (or similar organizations), we’d like to offer you a free portrait session and 8×10 print. There is no cost or obligation to you; this is our thanks for donating to a worthy cause.

We do ask that you either allow us to take a “before” picture, or bring one in that we can use for our website.
