About us…

On July 1st, 2010, the doors of O’Connell Photography re-opened as Paul Wood Photography. Paul and Julie Wood are continuing the business under a new name and management.

He is a member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Professional Photographers of Louisiana (PPLA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP). His images have been published locally, nationally and world-wide in books, magazines and newspapers. He has had extensive training in photography via traditional coursework, group seminars and focused workshops.

Julie has been the digital artist and retoucher for O’Connell Photography for four years, and the retoucher and business manager for her own home based business with Paul prior to Katrina. She is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), and has had extensive training and experience in portrait retouching and digital artistry
